Recipe: Energy Bites

Lacking energy? Try these tasty treats. They’re packed full of healthy ingredients like flax seeds, oats and peanut butter. They’re easy and quick to make as they only contain five ingredients and no baking is required. Give them a try and let me know what you think. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • 2/3 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup ground flax seeds
  • 2 tablespoons honey

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl. Stir to combine. Place in the refrigerator for 15 to 30 minutes so they’re easier to roll. Roll into app. 12 balls and store in the fridge for up to a week. Can also freeze.
