I LOVE ice cream!
I will almost always choose ice cream over all other dessert options. I’m not a big fan of cheesecake. I find it very heavy and feel full after a few bites. I’m not a fan of cakes with copious amounts of sweet icing on the top and edges. I don’t mind the cake part but will scrap off some of the icing. Guess I’m just not that sweet! I enjoy a piece of homemade fruit pie (apple, peach, blueberry, strawberry rhubarb) but it’s always better a la mode (with ice cream)!
I come from an ice cream family. It was one of our go-to desserts growing up. The boyfriend laughs because I always want to go for ice cream, especially on a hot summer day.
I don’t eat a lot of ice cream in the winter because of the cold. But in the heat of summer nothing beats a bowl of ice cream or an ice cream cone.
So what’s my favourite kind of ice cream? Well, it’s a toss-up between mint chocolate chip and Rolo – chocolate caramel. I do love chocolate! Although, sometimes you just need some vanilla in your life and then I prefer the French Vanilla – I find it has a richer vanilla taste.
What’s your favourite dessert? If you enjoy ice cream, what’s your favourite kind?
And let’s not forget about the hard-working dairy farmers that bring us our delicious ice cream. A big thanks to the dairy industry!
Time for a scoop!

Ok Teresa, now you have really gotten my attention. ICE CREAM! I agree with you on how yummy it is. And being raised in New Hampshire allowed me to eat the most amazing flavors all hand-made locally. One family, at Hayward’s, has been producing Southern New Hampshire’s favorite homemade premium ice cream for over 70 years. The quality and flavor are second to none. Take a look at this link. http://haywardsicecream.com/
