The Calgary Stampede has come and gone for another year. Once again I volunteered with the Ag Media committee and was on park for several of the 10 days. We also took in the afternoon rodeo, and evening chuckwagon races and grandstand show. It was a busy and fun time.

Rural Route Ramblings 
The vintage style picture of the chucks with the grandstand in the background reminds me of a picture my dad had from the 1950’s when he “had” (quoting him….his dad was involved with the chucks) to spend every summer at the stampede.
