Cowgirl Chic: Boots

In preparation for the 100th anniversary of the Calgary Stampede taking place in July, I plan on making a few western wear purchases. I’ve decided to feature these items on my blog in a new series called Cowgirl Chic.

Here’s my first purchase – cowboy boots. Every girl needs at least one pair of awesome cowboy boots. I decided to take advantage of a boot sale at Lammle’s, a western wear and tack store in Calgary. After trying on several pairs I decided on these Justin Boots, made in the USA. I love the pointy toe as it makes my legs look just a bit longer. I also love the dark brown colour and turquoise stitching and design. And they’re super comfy!

What do you think? Comment below. I love hearing from you!

    1. Thanks Pearl! I own some other boots that look like fake cowboy boots but these are my first genuine cowboy boots. You can’t wear fake cowboy boots to the Calgary Stampede!

  1. I’m with Pearl — surprised you didn’t already own some. Hip boots, Teres! And I think you can rock them outside of Alberta, too.

    1. Thanks Sue! Yes, I hope to put them to good use at many concerts as well as just out and about in Calgary. You’d be surprised how many people you see wearing cowboy boots here.

  2. I was a teen when I last owned cowboy boots. After seeing these beauties, I almost want to purchase another pair. Very nice T!
