Last weekend I got my first taste of beautiful Kananaskis Country and I loved it. The Kananaskis Country recreation area is located southwest of Calgary, Alberta. The area contains more than 4,000 square kilometres of foothills and mountains to explore. Snow on the ground and a chill in the air limited my hiking, but I plan to visit again when the weather warms up. Here are some photos from my first visit.
