Joining the Leggings Fashion Trend

Back in the 1980s I remember wearing coloured leggings and oversized shirts. Twenty-some years later, leggings have made a comeback. Lately I’ve been seeing a lot of ladies fall outfits that focus on leggings, whether it be on Pinterest, in the malls or elsewhere. I realize that not everyone can pull off the leggings look and up until now I’ve steered clear of it thinking it wasn’t for me. But recently I decided to give it a whirl. I bought a pair of black leggings and decided to try pairing them with a few other items I already had in my wardrobe. Here are the results.

  1. love, love, love…my only question is… what were you pairing those shirts and boots up with before? i love leggings…super comfy, totally fashionable, and very cute.

  2. I would like to direct you to the following blog…

I like the first 2 options but in my opinion if people who wear tights should wear them under things that come past where their legs meet in both the front and the back. That being said. I have totally seen people wear combinations like all the above. I like them with the boots just think you need a longer top.

    1. Good feedback, Pearl. I checked out the link you provided and I agree with them that leggings are not pants and they should only be worn with longer shirts or sweaters. I was concerned about this but I think I have some longer shirts to wear with them.
