Wordless Wednesday: Straight from the Garden

Tasty produce from my mom's garden on our family farm. I love fresh veggies in the summer!

Carrots.
Carrots that actually taste like carrots. Many of the baby carrots that you buy in the store have no flavour.
Cucumbers. Mix some fresh cut up cucs with sour cream and a bit of salt and pepper and you have a healthy, tasty snack.

Potatoes are so versatile - baked, mashed, roasted, fries... I especially enjoy roasted potatoes on the barbecue this time of year.

This is just a handful of the produce my mom grows in her large garden. She also grows corn, lettuce, peas, tomatoes, watermelon, raspberries, rhubarb, apples and more.

Do you have a garden? What do you enjoy growing? If you don’t have a garden, what’s your favourite fresh produce to enjoy in the summertime? Please comment below. I love hearing from you!
