Welcome to my rural route!

Hop in and take a ride through my rural route as I ramble on about agriculture issues, farm life, food and other fun stuff. I’m passionate about connecting farm and food. I grew up on a mixed farm (grain and cattle) in southern Manitoba, just a few miles from the North Dakota border. I currently live in Cowtown – Calgary, Alberta – and work in agricultural communications. Despite making the move from rural to urban, I will always be a southern Manitoba farm girl. You can’t take the country out of the girl!
